From One Extreme to Another
On Friday the second of October 2009, legendary photojournalist Nat Finklestein departed this life, he was 76 years old and had lived through some of the most inspiring and explosive of our times. A retrospective has been put together by his wife Elizabeth that will be on show at the Idea Generation Gallery in Shoreditch from the 20th January until the 14th February this year. He lead a fascinating and revolutionary life, his work with the Black Panthers and within the civil rights movement meaning his flight from America and fifteen years in exile.
