Zooey Deschanel is back on the almost famous bit, this time as the groupie. She will star and executive produce a half hour pilot based on famed rock follower Pamela Des Barres' 1987 memoir which chronicled dalliances with several heavies. A welcome change from the wide eyed big sister, hoping for less heart to hearts with more hip hugging tack.
